Promptuoso is operated by BUYLIFETIMEAPPS, a sole proprietorship registered in India ("Promptuoso", "we", "us"). Contact: support@promptuoso.com, 51, Ambazari Road, Nagpur, Maharashtra 440033, India.

By installing or using Promptuoso (the desktop app, the bundled MCP server and the Claude Code plugin) or this website, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not install or use Promptuoso.

1. What you are getting

Promptuoso is software that runs on your computer. It organises prompts, snippets and other text, expands abbreviations as you type, manages the settings, skills, MCP servers and rules of your AI apps, coordinates AI apps you already use, and keeps your plans, reminders and records on your PC. Your library stays on your computer. See the Privacy Policy for what leaves it and when.

2. The licence

Grant. When you buy Promptuoso, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use it on up to two desktop computers (Windows or Mac, in any mix) and two phones at once, for personal and commercial use, including client work and use inside your own business.

Lifetime. You pay once. There is no subscription and no renewal fee. A lifetime licence includes every update released through the app's built-in updater.

Activation. A licence key is issued through Freemius's licensing system, tied to the email used to buy, and activated from inside the app. The app confirms the licence with Freemius when you activate and re-checks it every 30 days. You can deactivate a device from inside the app or from your Freemius account and activate another in its place.

What you may not do. You may not copy, sell, rent, lease, sublicense or share your licence key beyond your two desktops and two phones; remove or bypass the licence checks or the free-version limits; reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software except where the law gives you that right regardless of this clause; or remove copyright and trademark notices.

Ownership. Promptuoso, its name, logo and software remain ours. Your content stays yours. We claim no rights in your prompts, snippets, projects, records, vault contents or anything else you put into Promptuoso.

Open-source components. Promptuoso includes third-party components under their own licences, which are listed in the app under Settings > Help > About.

3. The 14-day trial and the free version

Your first 14 days include every feature, on one computer, with no card. Reinstalling does not restart the trial. When it ends, Promptuoso continues as a free version: everything you made stays visible, editable, exportable and expanding. The free version holds up to 25 items, counted across all kinds, and includes the six basic blocks (Fill-in, Pick list, Cursor stop, Clipboard, Date with time and Include) and a clipboard history of 25 entries. Unlimited items, connecting AI apps, sync and automatic backups, AI tools, advanced blocks and long clipboard history need a licence. When you reach the free limit, only adding new items is refused; nothing you have is locked or deleted. Without a licence, the AI team and project coordination each include 5 free runs.

4. Buying, payment and refunds

Who sells to you depends on where you pay. Outside India you buy through Freemius, our reseller and the merchant of record: your contract of sale is with Freemius, and checkout, payment, invoices, taxes and refunds are handled by Freemius under its own terms. In India you buy directly from BUYLIFETIMEAPPS through Razorpay, in rupees with GST included, and we issue the tax invoice. Either way, we never see your card details.

30-day refund. If Promptuoso is not right for you, you can ask for a refund within 30 days of purchase. Write to support@promptuoso.com (or, if you bought through Freemius, use your Freemius account) and the refund goes back to the original payment method, through Freemius or Razorpay, whichever took the payment. A refund ends the licence for that purchase, and we will deactivate the devices on it.

Prices, currencies, taxes and any offer shown at checkout are those displayed at the time of purchase, by Freemius or, in India, on this website.

5. Updates and the software

Updates arrive through the built-in updater, which checks daily in the direct-download edition. Every update is signed, and the app installs only updates that verify. The Microsoft Store edition, where offered, is updated by the Store and unlocks with the same licence key. We may change, add or retire features. We will not remove access to your own data.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Promptuoso: to break the law or someone else's rights; to harm, attack or gain unauthorised access to any computer, account or service; to create or distribute malware; or in a way that breaches the terms of any AI provider or service you use with it. You are responsible for the prompts, scripts and automations you create and run, and for reviewing what they do before you rely on them. Scripts and other items that arrive by sync or sharing are inert until you allow them on that computer.

7. AI apps and third-party services

Promptuoso works with AI apps and services such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor, ChatGPT and Claude, and with Google Drive and OneDrive. These belong to their providers.

• They are your own accounts, subscriptions and API keys. Promptuoso does not sell, resell, bundle, proxy or provide access to them. We have no relationship with those providers on your behalf, and no endorsement or affiliation is implied. Product names and logos belong to their owners.
• You decide what they see. MCP access is off until you turn it on. What an AI app or provider does with data you send it is governed by that provider's terms and privacy policy.
• Usage, limits and charges are yours. Running an AI team, a knowledge graph, an Assistant request or any other AI task uses your plan or your API key. Rate limits, usage caps, costs and availability are set by the provider. Promptuoso cannot create, extend or guarantee capacity.
• Review AI output. AI apps can be wrong. Promptuoso shows changes before they are applied and keeps approval in your hands; you remain responsible for the changes you accept, including code that is merged and commands that run.
• Third-party changes. A provider can change or discontinue its app, API, plan or permissions. We will work to keep Promptuoso compatible but cannot promise it for software we do not control.

8. Your content and your backups

Your library is on your computer and you are responsible for it. Promptuoso offers version history, Trash, automatic backups and optional sync. Keep your own backups of anything important. If you lose both your vault password and every recovery route you set, nobody, including us, can open that vault.

9. Support

Write to support@promptuoso.com or use the report form in the app (Settings > Help). We aim to reply within 2 working days. Security fixes are prioritised and aimed for release within one to two weeks of a confirmed report.

10. Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, Promptuoso is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that text will insert correctly in every program, or that it will work with every version of a third-party app. Text expansion depends on the programs you use it in; some programs, especially elevated ones, can limit what any text tool can do. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

11. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim arising from Promptuoso or these terms is limited to the amount you paid for your licence. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost data or loss of business, including losses caused by AI apps, AI providers, cloud storage providers or your own scripts and automations. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12. Ending your licence

You can stop using Promptuoso at any time by uninstalling it. We may end your licence if you materially breach these terms and do not fix the breach within a reasonable time after we notify you. When a licence ends, your library remains on your computer, and the app continues as the free version. Sections that by their nature should survive ending these terms do survive.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for material changes, announce them in the release notes and on this page before they apply to new versions. If you disagree with a change, you can stop using the updated version and request a refund if you are within 30 days of purchase.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Nagpur, India, have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have as a consumer where you live.
